About Us

While many health care reform stakeholders have been vocal about their interests, one question remains: where is the young adult population in this debate?  Some suggest that young adults are not concerned with reform because it does not significantly affect them.  However, we – as young adults – understand that our generation is affected by the current fragmented health care system.  We experience the high cost of private health insurance and are excluded from coverage by pre-existing conditions.  We, too, fall in the gaps of the current system.  In an effort to have our voice heard, we are calling our peers to action – to participate – in the health care reform debate.  Young adults are health care reform stakeholders and, when engaged, our participation will help to build our future.
